If your online store is small, or you are new to this world, you might want to use a third party processor such as PayPal or 2Checkout. These services are all-in-one programs that provide you with shopping carts and processing. They will handle the whole process, then send you the money once it is completed. Of course, you still have to send the product to the buyer. While they are pretty easy to use, they also take a percentage of each sale. While this will happen with any credit card processor, make sure you understand exactly what the terms are before signing up.

Your bank will often allow you to process online credit transactions, but they can be pricey. Utilizing third part processers is a good way to do this effectively without spending much money. Processers such as Instamerchant and MerchantExpress will process your order for you and deposit your money in your account at the end of the day.
